Brendan Rodgers could be forced to leave out nearly £30million
of talent from his next Premier League squad if he can't find buyers for
his over-sized squad. Liverpool currently have 27 senior players to fit
into their 25-man squad and are likely to add England full-back
Nathaniel Clyne and at least one more stellar buy with strikers
Christian Benteke of Aston Villa and Sevilla's Carlos Bacca identified
as key targets. It means £12m forward Fabio Borini, Rodgers' first
signing for Liverpool in 2012, £7m forward Jose Alberto and Portuguese
under-21 defender Thiago Ilori, signed for £7m, are all vulnerable to
missing out if they aren't sold or loaned out.
