Arsenal Transfer News: £25m done deal, £23m Everton warning, Wenger reveals transfer plans

Arsenal have officially missed out on long-term target Jackson Martinez, who has today signed for Atletico Madrid for £25million on a four-year deal.
A club statement read: "Atletico Madrid and Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Jackson Martínez. The Colombian striker will sign for the next four seasons."

Everton boss Roberto Martinez insists James McCarthy, who is reportedly a target for the Gunners, will not leave Goodison Park this summer.
The Spaniard said on the £23m rumours: "He’s not for sale. My responsibility is to try to keep bringing competition into the squad."
