Madrid slap £65m price tag on Ramos in desperate bid to get rid of United


 Real Madrid fear they are losing control of the Sergio Ramos transfer wrangle despite turning down a £35million bid from Manchester United for the Spain defender. It is understood that Real president Florentino Perez took the unusual step of calling Ramos personally to reassure him that his contract dispute will be resolved after he returns from a holiday in America and before Rafael Benitez's squad depart for a pre-season tour of Australia and China on July 11.
