LIVERPOOL are on the verge of completing moves for three players as Brendan Rodgers continues his summer rebuilding job.
Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne,
Barcelona winger Bobby Adekanye and FC Copenhagen left-back Ludwig
Augustinsson could all move to Anfield in the coming days.
Clyne was on Merseyside today to undergo a medical ahead of his £12.5m switch from St. Mary's.
He
will replace departing free agent Glen Johnson and will become the
fourth Southampton player to move to Liverpool in the last 12 months
following the arrivals of Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren
last summer.
The England international had one
year remaining on his current contract and had little intention of
signing an extension and is set to put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal
with Rodgers' side.
The 16-year-old was one of the five transfers to the Catalan's youth system which were deemed illegal by FIFA and he was banned from playing for the club
He spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, who had hoped to sign him permanently, but Liverpool appear to have won the race for his signature.
