Arsenal Was charged over Calum Chambers signing



 
The FA charged Arsenal over irregularities in the signing of defender, Calum Chambers from Southampton 

Arsenal football club has been charged  by the Football Association for allegedly breaching football agents regulations during the signing of defender, Calum Chambers.
The  12-time FA Cup winners last year signed the 20-year-old from Southampton for £15.
The FA according to reports have been investigating the transfer after a disgruntled third party complained to the English football body.
"Arsenal have been charged for allegedly breaching The FA's Football Agents Regulations," an FA statement released on Fridau, June 12 read.
"The charge is in relation to the transfer of Calum Chambers from Southampton to Arsenal on 26 July 2014."
Chambers' agent Alan Middleton has also been charged for allegedly breaching the FA's Football Agents Regulations and has until June 17 to respond while Arsenal have until June, 26 to reply.
Arsenal in a statement released after the announcement of the charge insist that there were no irregularities in the trasfer.
"We have acted in good faith throughout with regard to this transfer," the statement read.
"We are considering our position and will make appropriate representations to the FA."
Chambers made his Arsenal debut in the FA Community Shield win over Manchester City at Wembley last August.
